Boolean search is a search method that allows you to combine keywords and phrases using logical operators (AND, OR, NOT) to refine your search results. This approach can help you find candidates that closely match your specific criteria, making your sourcing efforts more efficient and effective.
In the search bar, start by entering the keywords/Boolean and phrases that best describe the candidates you're looking for.
Here in Eg: Data Analyst Role: Fresher to mid-level
Technical Skills required - SQL or Python in Shanghai
the Boolean search string for this requirement could be:
*("data analyst" OR "business analyst") AND ("SQL" OR "Python") AND "Shanghai" NOT "senior"*
Make Sure to choose the relevant region (from top right corner) before clicking on ‘search talent’
These profiles match the results of the Boolean search.
Keywords will be highlighted in the candidate's profile to indicate a match with the search.

Navigate to ‘Search’ - Click on ‘ADVANCED SEARCH’ > Select your target continent from the top right corner.

There are 2 ways to source similar candidates
LinkedIN Profile: Copy the LinkedIn profile link from the candidate’s account.
Upload Resume: Upload a PDF or DOCX file. *Make sure it’s not an image file, as image formats cannot be processed.
Let the AI Analyze the Profile/Resume Once the profile or resume is parsed, you can edit and tailor your search to get better recommendations. Webbtree’s Gen AI lets you pin what matters most - helping you stay focused on the right candidate profile. At the top right corner, you'll see how many candidates match your criteria.

These profiles are generated based on the profile or resume you shared, using similarities in title, location, skills and priorities. You can further refine the search by adding more filters.
Webbtree JD Search lets recruiters find candidates by matching job descriptions to profiles. You can either type in job requirements or upload a JD file, and the platform automatically creates a Boolean search to find the best-matching candidates.
Navigate to ‘Search’ - Click on ‘JOB DESCRIPTION’
You can either upload the job description or copy and paste it to start searching for candidates.
